Flight industry collapse
Following the collapse of the aviation industry, there was a significant exchange of ideas between Uwe Weigele and Peter A. Huber. These inspiring discussions finally led to the start of the development of new solutions with the vision of “neutralizing and reducing pollutants bacteria and foreign odors in indoor air.”
PURVECTOR development start
Development of the first PURVECTORS began in the second quarter of 2020.
Breakthrough measurement technology
The interdisciplinary research group found that the existing market measurement technology no longer met the requirements. She therefore developed her own innovative solution, which marked a decisive milestone in further development.
Scientific evidence
In the second quarter of 2023, the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart was able to provide a record of 99.99% of virus inactivation.
First object installation
The first pilot project with Boda Borg in Rümlang marked the start of an exciting phase in which we tested and optimized our innovative concepts to drive the success of our company.
Founding and marketing
The successful achievement of market maturity and the subsequent start of sales marked a significant milestone in our company's history, as we offered pioneering products for our customers and established our presence on the market. PURVECT AG was also officially founded in May 2024, based in Brig.
International marketing
PURVECT started international marketing in 2025. The start of international marketing in India with system supplier AIROX Technologies Limited as a partner has been successful.
