Where does a PURVECTOR neutralize indoor air?

A PURVECTOR built into the ventilation system neutralizes indoor air directly where pollutants are located and germs such as viruses and bacteria develop or are transmitted: In the room, in the air itself. Filter systems clean by absorbing the return air. When the purified supply air flows into the room, it mixes with the polluted room air in it, which massively reduces effectiveness and massively increases the risk of infection. The good measurement results of the filter systems are measured in the ventilation system and not in the room, together with polluted room air and are therefore not comparable with the Purvection measurement results.

How long does it take for PURVECT AIR to work?

Purvection is fully effective after a few minutes in a well-ventilated room. Apart from odour emissions, the majority of the perception of the effectiveness of Purvection is not smellable, visible or perceptible.

How effective is PURVECT AIR in practice?

According to the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart, PURVECTORS achieve a germ reduction rate of -99.99% for pathogens such as bacteria and viruses, based on the SARS-CoV-2 surrogate virus Phi6. These germ reduction rates, which have been scientifically determined by the Fraunhofer Institute, can be measured and checked in any room using a standardized, mobile measurement method. The reduction of foreign odors is easier to verify. If you have detected a source of bad odors, preferably a mobile source, you can place it in a purvectorized room and after a few minutes this bad smell will be eliminated. If you are unsure, bring the smell source back outside and it will start to smell bad again after a few minutes. Repeat this test a few times, it will convince you. An entire room must be very bad enough for you to immediately smell the difference. It is usually only sporadic when several factors come together, which is why the test with the foul-smelling, mobile odour source.

How does PURVECT AIR work?

PURVECT AIR uses the natural resources available in indoor air through bionics and brings them into an optimal, stable balance. PURVECT AIR uses bionic technology, a natural, physical process to neutralize pathogens, foreign odors and pollutants in indoor air. This natural and self-cleaning effect, which occurs in outdoor air as a result of thunderstorms, rain or sunlight, was transferred to indoor air through basic and bionics research. What service and maintenance costs do PURVECTORS require?

Basically none. On the contrary, your service and maintenance costs for your ventilation system are reduced in terms of cleaning the ventilation ducts in a purvectorized ventilation duct. PURVECTORS are designed to operate 24/7 for years without service or maintenance costs. Contaminations in the ventilation lines or faults in the ventilation system also contaminate the PURVECTOR blades or also have a negative effect on the PURVECTORS, which requires cleaning the ventilation lines. What are the advantages of PURVECT AIR compared to other ionization systems?

The benefits of neutralizing pathogens through purvectorization have been scientifically proven. Without releasing harmful emissions, such as nitrogen oxides, ozone or other pollutants, the scientifically proven results can be precisely measured and confirmed in every purvectorized room. Trust is good - control is better - we prove it every day! Since the umbrella term ionization does not define any features and technical content, the range of ionization services from device to device, from manufacturer to manufacturer is enormous. These must be carefully checked in each case. Due to the wide range of services offered by ionization devices, various health authorities warn against the installation of ionization devices. On the one hand, inexpensive devices promise more than they keep, and on the other hand, and far more problematic and harmful to health, ionization produces releases of nitrogen oxides or ozone or produces static charges. Purvection is a holistic concept that uses AI (artificial intelligence) optimized algorithm control to ensure that Purvection balance optimization is permanently stable in real time. What is included in the package?

Wings and a mounting bracket are absolutely necessary to operate the PURVECTORS. Both depend on dimensions and must be ordered individually to match the respective ventilation size. In the case of the mounting bracket, a distinction is made between flat duct and round pipe. For round pipes — as with wings — the diameter of the pipe must be considered in order to order the appropriate dimensions. The package includes a 1.5 m power cable with plug, a sealing ring, the required screws, suitable bit attachments and print documents. Optionally, an extension adapter of 1 m, 3 m or 5 m (if the 1.5 m cable is not sufficient) and a 51 mm metal core drill attachment can be ordered as an option.

What does neutralization of germs mean?

Neutralizing pathogens means that purvection makes them permanently and irreversibly inactive (apathogenic). They are still present, but they are no longer pathogenic, disease-causing.

What is the difference between ionization and purvection?

During ionization, the air is enriched with ions through electrical voltage. These charged particles attach to dust, aerosols or microorganisms and lead to so-called clustering — the particles clump together, become heavier and sink to the ground. As a result, the air appears clearer in the short term, but the pollutants and viruses are not neutralized and must then be mechanically removed or cleaned away. Many ionization systems work alternatively or additionally with ozone, which is produced specifically to kill viruses. While this method may be effective, ozone is hazardous to health and should therefore be critically assessed. Purvection technology works fundamentally differently: It uses a nature-inspired self-cleaning effect based on Purvection enthalpy, in which a minimal amount of energy is transferred to the airflow. This energy stimulates a purely physical self-cleaning process in the room air, which neutralizes exhaled viruses and pollutants directly in the room, i.e. the viruses persist but are no longer pathogenic. In addition, there is an effect in the ventilation duct around the PURVECTOR wing that is similar to a UV-C effect and destroys flowing microorganisms — everything happens without ozone, chemicals or by-products.

Do PURVECTORS replace or complement the available filter technologies?

PURVECTORS do not replace existing filter technologies, but complement them ideally. While conventional filters (such as G4 or F7) remove coarse and fine particles from the air, PURVECTORS also neutralize gaseous pollutants, viruses and bacteria that filters cannot retain. The result is a hybrid cleaning system that takes your existing or new ventilation system to a new level — for naturally pure, healthy and fresh indoor air with lower energy and maintenance costs.

Does a PURVECTOR always need a ventilation system?

PURVECTORS are installed in existing or new ventilation systems, regardless of type and size. The advantage of this is that Purvection is ensured uniformly in all rooms. There are also mobile PURVECTORS, which are equipped with their own fan, which additionally purvectorize poorly or not at all ventilated areas.

Can I still ventilate after installing a PURVECTOR?

PURVECTORS do not replace the fresh air supply with daily burst ventilation, for example. This means that ventilation can and should continue. Purvection does not change the composition of the air you breathe. The supply of fresh air is important and must be maintained. Purvection immediately neutralizes the new pollutants introduced during ventilation.

Are there different PURVECT AIR models?

All PURVECTORS offer the same protective effect — around 1,000 times more effective against germs than a correctly worn surgical mask. The four PurVector types differ in their additional functions and possible uses: Type 1: Designed for 24/7 continuous operation. Type 2: Suitable for continuous or part-time operation, e.g. via a timer when the ventilation is not in continuous operation; optionally with scenting function. Type 3: Enables integration into database systems as well as monitoring and central control of multiple PURVECTORS. Type 4: It also has sensors to measure CO₂, humidity and other environmental parameters — these can be individually adapted to the respective requirements.
